Biography: As a former vigilante from the underworld of Coruscant, Zerick was no stranger to the cruelty that lingered throughout the sector.
An operation gone wrong had him cornered in an abandoned factory by several members of the Black Sun. His target, a lieutenant of the syndicate by the name of Kri'nok, was ready for him. After barely escaping the ambush, Zerick became heavily injured, and he knew that his time in the underworld had come to an end. He abandoned his hopes of cleansing the underworld, and after recovering, he took the next shuttle to Onderon.
By escaping to Onderon he hoped to start anew; a life free of vindication. By the time he arrived however, Separatist forces were already making their mark on the planet and its inhabitants. Where he was located, several droids and an officer were harassing local citizens. Zerick felt the urge to do his part just once more.
As he geared up and prepared to engage the group, clone troopers from the Republic began dropping from LAATs and a small battle commenced. He supported the clones by dismantling a few Separatist vehicles and capturing the officer.
A lieutenant of the 104th recognized his actions throughout the battle and referred him to the agent program within the Republic Army. Unsure of this idea at first, Zerick stood around as he watched the clones perform their duties. The inspiration he gained from this soon restored his resolve in helping the weak, and he quickly made his way to the nearest Republic center.
