I should probably put this here. Military Medical Staff across the nation are being pushed into local hospitals and clinics due to the massive drop in staff presence in all sorts of floors. This includes myself and I’m being pushed into one of the closer Hospital groups known as UCSD. With that in mind, I’ve got long shifts of 12 hours during the weekdays in order to help compensate for the major blow nurses and doctors have taken due to COVID. I’m unsure about the end timeframe, but it’s projected that the floor staff here will be replenished in two weeks or so. So that’s the hoped for end date for the LOA, but it’s fucking Corona. Corona gives, Corona takes. It’s funny because I never thought I’d be on the frontlines in the military, but here we are. Nonetheless, as a wise man has once said:
