As you know PVP launched today. There are some obvious issues like too many magnas/jedi but beyond that, post any feedback on the PVP system here.

I could do without jedi and magna honestly, maybe add some more classes like BF2. Possibly reset money or bring back scrap and use that to buy special characters like B2s or commandos.
Maybe instead of using money and scrap just do what BF2 does and have a battlepoint thing that you get from getting kills and you loose points when you use a special class. Also make it reset when you relog

This would be a pain in the ass to implement but you could have a basing system. There's different HQs the players can capture and it shows that their squad owns that zone. For example Riddick Squad controls Sector 1-4. It could have like a leaderboard showing daily times for which squad held the points the longest.

EDIT: It it makes it easier, just have like one king of the hill points to control.

Nerf Jedi and Magna health to 600 HP and put their block stamina to 50. Also restrict Saber Slash. Then Jedi shouldn’t be 100% shredding machines in PVP.

Either maybe have healing stations around the map, Bacta for clones and some kind of repair thingy for the droids, or a middle-ground to fight over so that there is some kind of objective instead of it just being go around and shoot on this amazing map, cus most of it doesn't get used and the combat is mostly just at the gates of the battlements

Here's my opinion on all the stuff for PVP. Keep in mind, pvp is in heavy testing so some of this might change when the classes and such are adjusted. Additionally, some of these things might've already been suggested. Finally, keep in mind that I have no idea if these are possible, they just sound decent.

General
Map:
I have two big problems with the map right now. The first one is that CT spawn is just a huge bottleneck. They need some sort of alternate entrance out on the side, and/or some flanking route from out of their spawn like the CIS. This should help with the CIS spawncamping the Republic a ton.

The other change is I feel like there isn't really a middle of the map. You have CIS spawn, a big room, another big urban room, and then CT spawn. You also have some side paths and that giant side room, but thats about it. There isn't a middle area for people to contest, they either go right to the big room by CIS spawn or the giant urban room by CT spawn. This middle room would also go hand in hand with:

Capture Points/Upgrades:
I know this has been suggested before, but simply put some capture points would be nice. If you captured these areas, they could grant points to the team which eventually could unlock a vehicle or extra weapons?

The other side of this idea sounds better. If you capture a point and hold it, it grants you money or scrap or whatever. You can use these points to give SMALL upgrades to health, armor, speed, etc etc. Additionally there could be class specific stuff like higher damage or faster fire rate. Once again these will be very small changes, but small enough to make some difference.

Passive Regeneration:

Simply put, if you are out of combat you start regenerating health. Not a lot of health, but some form of passive regeneration might be nice. The specifics of this still could be discussed, but it is an interesting idea nevertheless.

Classes
Assault:
Assault needs something to get people to play it. What is the point of playing assault when you can just go heavy or recon? My idea for this would be to give assault a shotgun or smg, and the ability to use it while sprinting. This would make it a lot more viable for CQB and urban combat.

Recon:
Recon is at a decent place right now, but it just needs to be added onto. The sniper still needs a bit of a buff, and I think a nice element for recon would be to give it one life ziplines. This means that they disappear on their death (or maybe on a timer?). Ziplines would be cool but a way is needed to limit them so there aren't 30 ziplines.

Heavy:
I feel like out of all the classes, heavy is in the best place right now. I don't think heavy should be adjusted until the rest of the classes should be adjusted. Heavy right now is the pick for CQB because it is better than the DC-15s/E-5 in combat (at least in my experience), but if the changes were added to assault then heavy would go back to more of a suppression type classes.

Jump Trooper:

Jump trooper is also at a pretty good place like heavy, but it could be added on to. I think the jump pack should throw you farther forward and less up, as it is kinda weird when the jump trooper just shoots basically straight up. Additionally, they should get maybe a better pistol as opposed to a DC-15s.

Jedi:
Jedi, the most controversial class. I think Jedi should have roughly 800-1000 hp, however they need a better counter. I think the best counter to Jedi would be to limit the number of saber users on the field. Best case scenario is it would scale to the amount of players in the pvp room, but as that seems improbable maybe a max of 4. Additionally, once you die as a Jedi you should have a timer that you have to wait to pick it again. This will limit Jedi spam and let all the Jedi have a chance of using the class.

The final thing that needs to be adjusted is Saber Slash. Jedi is fun and all, but it's not fun for the trooper if they're getting fucked over by Jedi. This is partly due to the saber slash. I think saber slash should have the amount of force needed increased, and damage decreased. This could function maybe as an ability to launch troopers away or slow them down for a small period of time.

POSSIBLE CLASSES
Medic:
If Medic were to be added, it needs to be pretty under powered. I don't think they should get a bacta injector or grenade. Instead, I think medic should get an AOE station they can pickup or move around. This will heal anyone in their team in a certain radius. Not at a huge rate, but a decent one. Additionally, maybe medics could have a one time revive item they can use. However, they need to wait a few for it to charge up and work.

Engineer:
Engineer is a tricky class. I'm only suggesting it because I feel like it could be built on by other people. If Engineer were to be added, I think they should be able to place down a squad shield that is like the jedi's shield, where it is just on one side. Another option is they can place barriers that are about crouch height that can be destroyed. Essentially just smaller/different variants of the squad shield. Additionally, engineer could build a small/decently powerful turret. This turret would take a bit of time to build, and would delete on death.

Conclusion
If you got this far, thanks for reading this. Any feedback/criticism would be appreciated, especially adding on to the ideas. I know some of these aren't the best/might not be possible though.

i still think no jedi but maybe if jedi have to stay do kinda what sharp is saying but instead of a cool down timer have it cost a high amount of battlepoints and or scrap and make the limit one on each side
