Hours Played on Server: About 500
Have you ever been kicked/warned/banned? If yes, explain in detail: I have been warned once last August for Micspam by Fretwell.
Do you have any experience being staff on GMOD? If yes state what server, positions, and time period: I have been a GM on RSG and NFGC combined about a year experience from there with a few months experience as an admin as well on RSG. I was a GM on GGN CW and IMP for about a year as well in staff positions such as GM and Senior Mod. FI had various high-rank positions in some friends servers that stayed small which rope in about another 6 months of being a gm and for some time HGM. Finally, I recently resigned from a server called PG to apply here and I was a gm there for about a week.
Do you have experience with Serverguard commands? No, but I have extensive use of ULX and I can learn commands quickly.
What can you bring to the Staff team?: I can bring over 2 years of experience as a GM as well as a professional attitude with the ability to allow the player base to write their own story into the event with their actions truly influencing the mission's success or failure. With this over two years of experience, I have seen many bad GMs as well as learned from some absolutely stellar GMs who taught me a lot and have gathered the best way I can possibly spawn NPCs and spawn point placement to avoid the long walks back to combat that I have found myself in personally.
Why would you like to join the PR staff team?: I have been a Game Master on both Imperial and Clone wars servers (Geestly’s and non-Geetsly’s like NFGC, RSG, Project Nova, and Project Conspiracy) so I have seen what player bases all over want to see in events. I have also noticed the recent lack of new and creative event ideas and have new ideas that I have seen done partially before on PR that I would like to bring to life fully.
Why should we accept you over other applicants?: As I mentioned I have been a Game Master before but I have also been Head Game Master before on multiple servers such as the aforementioned Geetsly’s CW, RSG, and Sentinel. With these experiences as a Game Master and Head game master and everything in between, I have learned what good conduct of a Game Master is and how the ranking structure works. With these experiences, I have also gained a considerable amount of knowledge on ULX commands and other things Game Masters need to know.
Sample event (typed up event script):
Operation: Goliath
Location: Abafar; Outer Rim
Timestamp: 22 BBY
Operation Coordinator: MAJ Lexington
Troopers, you are looking at a rhydonium mine on the surface of Abafar. The CIS have been making powerful plays to secure Abafar recently you have been tasked with 5 key objectives. You will be inserted via LAATs to an LZ that will be cleared and held by the 21st and 187th Battalions. You will then be split into two groups, one will take a storage facility and the other will take a refinery. Listen to me very closely YOU ARE NOT TO DESTROY THE STORAGE OR REFINERY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. After you have captured the refinery you will move to a second storage facility for the refined rhydonium. You will finally move and capture the spaceport the CIS are using send the rhydonium out for their fleets. There will be a side objective for you should you choose to complete it. There is a known CIS Scientist in one of your key locations if you look for him and capture him he will prove useful, whoever if you cannot capture him let him go do not kill him.
What is one key thing that should be exercised while running an event? Controlled spawning should always be exercised to avoid things like overcrowding one area with NPCs while leaving another area completely empty and to avoid spawning on top of players creating a generally less fun event and a less fun experience.
How often can you be online?: I can be online every day for at least 3-4 hours.
Do you have a working microphone?: Yes
Do you have a smartphone?: Yes
Please state one reference (optional): Sigmaine
