Okay, I've been gone for a little, and when I join everyone is acting dumb and minge and I wanted to get off immediately. I feel like some Rules need to be set up on this deployment.

1. Maybe set up a Rule where you cant leave the base without an SGT+ and a medic and must have at least 3+ people and can only leave for an RP reason. max it at 3 groups can be at a time. (example for aRP reason a Patrol)

2. Maybe put some stuff up inside the base everything is an empty wasteland.

3. Maybe stay more on the RP side and not just dumbo mode.

If SGT+ with a medic was implemented then most troops couldn’t be able to get to their assigned outpost without having to assemble a full fire team just to go do gate duty at another outpost.

Why would we not have assigned outposts when #1 the outposts exist #2 an outpost is: "a small military camp or position at some distance from the main force, used especially as a guard against surprise attack". How could we have outposts to guard against attack when we don't have people man them. The outposts would essentially become useless if no one mans them. Also, if people can't go to their outposts and do their own thing like defending and building defenses, they would probably get bored and there could be even more minging. Even if there is still minging, it would be more spread out and it wouldn't be first impressions since it isn't at spawn. But that is just my opinion. Sorry if it sounds like I'm heated about this, I'm not, but I really don't agree.

Even if staff set up more things inside it more boring and hard to do events because if your outside anything can happen and if late at night which I play there no many SGT so if you can't leave it just no point in being active and if you needed a team just to go outside it would make it less fun and make it useless to even try to do mini-events if all the troopers are inside because of they can't leave.

I would like to add that theres people who get on way before events occur. I live in CST and around 12pm - 1pm there roughly 16 to 20 people online. Most of us are either CPL or lower sometimes theres a few NCOs and Officers but we usually stand there doing nothing, talking in OOC and whatnot. We even get GMs on but they dont want to do anything and Ive had a GM quote "No one ever gets on for events Pre-5pm EST."

Just saying there could be minis held before the big events occur, I know Monkey does Minis every now and then round the time I usually hop on. Even if its 2 Minis, it would give a little more life to the server.

Yeah im always attempting to run something or do something fun to keep ya'll busy before events cause I know it gets boring just chilling there. If we were to implement something like this I think this is how'd it go. I say we keep the outpost it keeps us spreadout and can create more RP scenerios. Including patrols by people stationed at that outpost or the stronghold. A minimum of a 3 man patrol team is required to patrol if you can get a medic than great. I say that the highest ranking person at the stronghold or outpost can approve or deny a patrol. So its not like only NCO plus but whoever is the highest ranking hence in charge of that outpost. I can look into adding some things for yall to do at the stronghold and outpost I am usually making dupes for them to help keep yall busy just have limited space and don't want to lag the server with all the props. I can set up more RP scenerios as well I got a couple in mind just a lot of people rather shoot crap. But that is my say on this, feel free to argue what I said here.

leaving the base provides troopers with more to do, especially when they are stationed at an outpost they have the ability to cycle guarding positions every so often to ensure that it doesn't get stale, having everyone in the main base is fine, but again it can get pretty boring being in one place for too long.

i have a few dupes for the base itself I've been trying to get permapropped like https://imgur.com/a/kXfe1j4 those though i've found it difficult when the people who are able to permaprop are unable to get on or are busy with other things. There is also the issue regarding lag as it has been a menace to PR more so as of lately due to technical issues.

lastly, as a gamemaster I can say we are really trying to find new and innovative ways to push more passive rp out though it's difficult when passive rp mostly just involves supply deliveries, casual medic RP or patrol RP. If you or anyone has any other passive RP ideas please let us know, cause we want to host that passive rp just as much as you want to participate in it.

The outposts are required to be manned simply because they’re posts that matter. You have an additional depot and a LR comms relay as outposts. If we lose those whilst under siege, we’re essentially without exterior support. Leaving the base is perfectly fine as long as you got a battle buddy
