Issue with navy -serious

Recently a lot of things been going on with navy and I'm sick and tired of it number 1 HC so recently sadly Fretwell left and HC said nothing yet not updates were left in the dark with no idea who will be taking charge and I'm sick of it. Navy tools and updates, Recently navy been missing a lot of stuff we have no datapad no last beacon we became basically useless the last beacon made us unique in events but now were cts with a special clearance and better guns and a job. I don't want updates every day or week I just want the navy to be fixed it dying we are dying but it still doesn't matter and I'm upset because I spent a lot of time in the navy and loved it and now it broke. We have been broken for a while like 4 months we didn't even have turbo lasers for a while, and for us to be able to do anything is to get more training to join 5th. We have been the most broken squad.I'm not even playing anymore because of how broken it is some of us. Navy is our only chactoar and if navy gets removed many are going to get mad we spent hours upon hours to rank up. I pled with Riddick or Evan please fix the navy.

Jim making a serious post? Shocking. But fr I gotta agree with him, navy is kind of a shitshow atm, it’s definitely an issue because I can tell that navy’s fucked and I haven’t even been on in months. Now I understand riddick and Evan are incredibly busy with other stuff, including jvs (good job mate), but it just feels like we’ve totally been abandoned and I fear that if we don’t get a co to reign in the battalion, we will end up being disbanded again. Which would totally be a bummer.

Naval primarily is in a bad place because it has no set leadership, Fretwell was on LOA for quite a while which caused it to take a down turn, before the LOA Fretwell lead navy really well, it had great numbers and it was looking good. If another person like him wanted to take the mantle I'd be totally for it. Just establish a leading figure within it that can host tryouts and training's and the rest will fall into place if that leadership figure is dedicated.

ENG is in the same boat, their leadership core is inactive as well. Both CO and XO. While both I think have more than enough potential to lead and fix Naval, their own circumstances are preventing them from fulfilling the necessary duties to keep their part active.

5th had this problem, but with Pyro as it's lead, I feel it will be in a good place in a few weeks time once Pyro has fully grasped the responsibilities he has. MPing itself is a pretty complex job once you get to the meat of it, on paper it's looks to be just patrolling and arresting. Though when in reality there are a lot of underlying qualities that you don't notice until you actually join it, or hang around them enough to notice.

Investigations, Interrogation, Hostage Retrieval and Negotiation (if 104th isnt available), Inspections, Citations, Bailouts, are just some of the few aspects an MP battalion can use to their advantage. And while it may seem a bit unrealistic for a Military Police division to be handing out citations to soldiers, you have to take the best aspects of any form of policing and put it into an MP battalion for it to work.

Overall, the best solution you can do to fix Naval and ENG is to either put in new High Command core for both or reform it's current command core (for ENG). Putting someone to lead all three was a bad decision in my opinion, again on the surface it's a cool concept, streamlining 3 CO positions for just 1, but not only does this put a lot more pressure on that one person, it also increases the work load, which could and probably will lead to eventual burnout.

Regardless of any of this though, change needs to happen in some aspect. Constantly putting it off just isn't working anymore.

I can no longer have fun in the navy. I joined the server to have fun but there is no fun anymore, I’m tired all we have is a blaster holster and a camera. Riddick Evan for christ sakes please fucking fix us were the most broken battalion. WE don’t have a commander we don’t have stuff. It seems like HC and the devs don’t care were not given a fuck about anymore were left in the shadow. Some of the navy relay on our characters when we were not in a squad it was fun we were not as broken but now were fucked was nothing. IT bullshit for me and other navy crewmen most of us are not active because it not we became lazy it because we don’t have fun, If 414th or 501st had issued it would have been fixed but navy no, No fucks given about navy all we do is fly a ship right no. We have to make hard choices. And if it the wrong one we get shit for it. Were CTs nowadays nothing to do at least Ct can do more shit on a battlefield. You know RNI in navy right well it does nothing fudell did shit for us and it was fun but now he’s gone and gms don’t knowledge RNI has a real squad we are nothing we can’t do anything all we can do is shoot a blaster. I know source 2 and JVS have taken time but fuck sakes it been months and no update I’m tired of keeping quiet I had enough. If navy does not get a fix soon it going to die. And there no blaming the players for being inactive or some shit it just was left out with nothing to do.

Personally I think it would be beneficial for Navy if Crewman and Engineer were merged as Enigneer and crewman have never been very active but together they could probably change that, as long as it’s only a CO and XO for both and 4 or 5 different leadership positions.

So when I asked for the Naval squad to be fixed and brought together, the intention was to make it fun and intuitive to play as a Naval. You'd be able to be security or engineer or a medic, stuff like that. But GMod updates came in and broke a lot of stuff and Riddick diverted his focus to the JVS and SRC2. It was months of just trying to get the squad fixed but I simply didn't have the energy to do that anymore. I would hope the Navy could continue as it was with multiple jobs, but it was never fleshed out as the jobs were never properly set up. I think 5th currently is doing fine with the leadership of Pyro but sadly the crewman and eng branches died. I would also like to apologize to the Navy I left in the dust, I just couldn't continue bleeding my hours trying to fix a problem I basically had no control over.

Bad news recently I talkedd to peeps and navy going to get disbanded and I can do nothing I feel like a failer it hard I don't know what next for me or the other navy men. One day I come on and boom navy is gone nad if that happens it ends what I'm I suppose to do there not much left. But fret it not your fault.
