In-Game Name: SSGT Poseidon
Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:73722394
Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/theprojectrenegade/
Age: 17
Timezone: EST
Hours Played on Server: Only god knows at this point
Have you ever been kicked/warned/banned? If yes, explain in detail:
I've had a good few moments of mine, most, if not all of those have been at least 2 years ago at this point though.
Do you have any experience being staff on GMOD? If yes state what server, positions and time period:
Last Bastion Gaming (Senior Mod/Gamemaster) | 2016 - 2017
Codex Networks (Gamemaster) | 2017
Project Renegade (Head Gamemaster/Senior Gamemaster) | 2017 - 2020
Do you have experience with Serverguard commands?: Yes
What can you bring to the Staff team?: Experience, and the insight that comes along with it.
Why would you like to join the PR staff team?:
To be honest, since I've resigned I've just gotten that urge to run events with no outlet to do so, and frankly, I've missed running bangers, so that's what I'm hoping to get back into the groove of doing; giving the player's a fun time, as always.
Why should we accept you over other applicants?: I've got a proven track record, few bumps along the way, but nonetheless, it's there.
Sample event:
Event
I haven't really scripted my events for a very long time outside of personal spitballing that's more on the side of rambling off ideas so I'm putting up one of my old docs I made. I'm currently scripting an event arc I plan to run, but obviously, I can't put that on here.
What is one key thing that should be exercised while running an event?:
Improvisation. You should never expect your event to go to plan, and act accordingly, and I would even go as far as to say you should look to add areas of improv into your events (where it fits). Makes everything feel a little more authentic and more interesting. Also, the atmosphere is another big one, an event is nothing if it doesn't have that nice vibe.
How often can you be online?:
I do have school and work to worry about, and that goes take up a good chunk of my days, not gonna lie. So I'm not gonna be insanely active, but probably around the consistency I am at now; few times a week sorta deal.
I've told Holiday beforehand of applying that I'm going to be heavily focusing on quality over quantity, so although I don't plan to spam events like I used to, hopefully, they'll be bangers.
Do you have a working microphone?: Yes
Do you have a smartphone?: Yes
Please state one reference (optional): Evan
