In-Game Name: Fudall

Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:85101457

Age: 20

Timezone: MST

Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198130468643/

Hours Played: 11 Hours, 42 Minutes. I would have gotten more time, but I saw that one of the maps I was using for my sample event is getting removed in the next map rotation.

Have you ever been kicked/warned/banned: Yes, Syctheis offered $100 for anyone to run an anime event and so I did. I was banned for a week.

Do you have any experience being staff on GMOD?
  • Admin - Silence's Fallout DarkRP (Server Shutdown) - 2 Years
  • Admin - Silence's AliensRP (Resigned) - 2 Weeks
  • Gamemaster - Project Renegade (Disappeared) - 2½ Years

Do you have experience with Simple Admin Mod commands? Yes, I’ve used ULX quite a bit and I’m familiar with the commands on the server.

What can you bring to the Staff team? Consistent events where my main goal is to make it fun for the players; I do have experience, but I need time to get familiar with the new tools.

Why would you like to join the PR staff team? I really like doing events, the planning aspect is nice and it’s something I can kick around in my head throughout the week in-between coursework; I’ve missed making events.

Why should we accept you over other applicants? I can’t say there is a reason to. I’ve left two times before, and only on the first time did I talk to Riddick before leaving.

Sample event (typed up event script): https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-zc1A2s4X8m3VQpxY3gDiy70x1Lt7ZWes5QocRPvHxk/edit?usp=sharing

What is one key thing that should be exercised while running an event? Some good showmanship. Even for relatively straightforward events, a nice presentation can make a competently run event even more fun & memorable for the players. Like doing something that will make the briefing more interesting, changing up how the players drop-in & extract from an event, or doing a neat set-piece.

How often can you be online? Monday through Thursday I’ve got lectures and a two-hour commute on those two days so the majority of my stuff would be Friday and the weekend.

Do you have a working microphone? I’ve got a pretty decent mic.

Please state one reference (optional):

+1 The fucking best of the best. Would be a tragedy to not accept his services. This man puts his heart and soul into every event he runs, and it shows in the respect and reputation he has garnered over his time in this community.

+1 Fudall was regarded as the best GM of the server in his 2 1/2 year stint and bringing him back to run events would excite a large portion of the player base for the better. I know nothing is stopping him from leaving again but I'd much rather have him run events while's he's here than have him sit around as a CT.
Edit: Also that sample event looks killer

Some of the best events the server has seen. Some of the best execution, and one of the first successful overarching chains of the server.
Also made the backbone of props and dupes that PR has used for years.

I also helped in that anime event. Worth it.

Very good looking application, and while I didn't experience many if any of your past events, I have never heard a negative thing about them.
His events are stuff of legend

I do not believe it would be much of an exaggeration to say that Fudall and his events played no small part of a golden age of PR events when he was on staff. He was a fantastic member and the community and one of, if not the best game master the server has ever had.

The hardest +1 I've done in awhile

one of my best memories when I first Joined was playing on your events. It was a very fun time for me as a new player. not only do you put a lot of time or effort in your events, you also put made really good training dupes. (I remember the medic on the most when I got my medical cert awhile back) You just put a lot of time and effort into your work which is something I fucking LOVE for events.

so yeah hard +1

First off, I want to state I've heard you were a great GM that made some wonderful events and some really good dupes in the past.

If that were the only criteria for being a GM, you would be accepted in a heartbeat.

However, at least in my opinion, there are other soft factors that should come into play when someone is being accepted.

The biggest thing is that I straight up don't really know you whatsoever. I can understand wanting to get accepted before the map for your event gets removed but for people like me that have never attended one of your past events or have ever even talked to you once, it makes it difficult to tell if you would be a good fit for the GM team on a personal level.

I know I'm going to get a ton of flak for this but I have to -1 this.

If you up your hours on the server and increase your community engagement I will probably come back and change this from a -1 to a +1

Its no doubt you can run some incredible events/mini events, and your event doc proves you haven't lost your touch when it comes to the tools in GMOD and the planning aspect.

To anyone who wasn't there for your events, it would be hard to form a complete opinion from the little community interaction. If you get your hours up and interact with the community a bit more, you have my +1 (On the topic of the map being removed, I'm sure something can be worked out with Flare/Holiday.)

Also whether you get accepted or denied, it would be beneficial to talk to Riddick and hash things out with him.

Looking at his previous track record as well as having the opportunity to assist in some of his events in the past, there's no doubt in my mind that Fudall might just be one of the greatest GMs I've ever come across. However during his time as a GM, it might've just been me but he always felt like this mysterious/intimidating dude to me and still does to thing day. I've never really had a genuine conversation with him which has left me puzzled on who he really is/was.

As long as you plan on sticking around, gaining a few more hours on the server, and engaging more with the majority of the community, I'd have no problems switching this to a +1.
